The cave is warm.
we don't need a fire

the bed is soft, mossy, green

my dragon-man covers...

sigh, gasp. Laugh

colors shine, eyes close

a spark, an explosion

pain pleasure

noise, silence

a question....

Flight


I sit on his back,

warm, leathery,
smooth, supple

air rushes by

My hair flies out
whipping my face

we DIVE

I scream.
Joy, terror.

my heart pounds

we barely skim the water.

I laugh,
my heart sings

The dragon's claw reaches out,
My knees begin to quake.

The claw changes into a hand, beckoning

I take a step, then another, faster, faster, till I run,

into waiting, loving, accepting arms.

The dragon-man smiles and I am safe, wanted,
