I have for a couple days and still can not seem to find it. Under synopsis I type in latex which suprisingly is not used that much in stories, along with other things and can still not seem to find it. I have a feeling that it was not this site that I found it on... but the majority of my reading is done here or at utopiastories.com and they do not have the story either. Do you read from any other sites were you might have read the story? Thanks for the help.

The story theme you've identified is vaguely familiar, but no particular tale springs to mind. Have you tried playing with the story search function, which allows you to track down stories (ranked by rating, date, title ...) that meet any combination of themes?
