Perfect! I agree with you. How about if you both enjoy it equally, but the slave would do it to please her Master, regardless? In that case I vote for- it's both.

I agree with Oz. For me, sodomy is just sex, plain and simple. I enjoy anal sex, so I don't "submit" to it. Hell, I have even been known to initiate it. On the other hand, if I was topping a submissive male and decided to take his virgin ass, that would be a submissive act for him. Once we discovered whether or not he enjoyed it, I could then decide if any further sodomy was just sex or whether he was submitting solely for my pleasure.

The short answer is "yes". Sex can be a D/s act or it can be just sex.

But... a lot of people, both men and women, tend to think of ass fucking as subjection and degradation. I'm aware that it can be as loving and sharing as PIV, but I've never encountered it in any other context than BDSM, because I only relate to men that way. So for me, it's all domination.
