Hello everyone! I'm not new to the site, but I am new to posting in the forums.

And could I ask everyone to pm me if you can give me a good answer to this question, "what are some good alternative/kinky/unconventional love songs?" I'm trying to make a playlist for my boyfriend but I don't want just boring old sappy nonsense. Thanks!!

These are all great. I'll add Reptile by NIN, also Discipline and Sanctified; lots of Elvis Costello - I Want You is pretty classic, This Year's Girl, many others - ask me if you want a more complete list; early Brian Eno - Baby's On Fire, The Great Pretender; some Melissa Etheridge - Like I Do, Precious Pain; don't forget Velvet Underground Venus In Furs; for some reason, How You Remind Me, by Nickelback, makes me think of bdsm, but that's just me ("this is how/you remind me/of what I really am" - oooh); also for some reason, Low, by Cracker, but I'm not sure why; is Rape Me by Nirvana stretching it?; You've Got Her in Your Pocket by the White Stripes; Same Situation by Join Mitchell.

Some of these are pretty eccentric and maybe only I hear bdsm echoes in them, but some are pretty straightforward.

Most of Nine Inch Nails "The Downward Spiral" has interesting BDSM undercurrents. And Leonard Cohen, perhaps more subtly. i find the line "touched your perfect body with his mind" in Suzanne very erotic.

"Sweet dreams are made of these", either the original or Marilyn Manson did a great cover.

On a lighter note, "hit me baby one more time" by Britney Speers.

And that old song with the chorus "fine line between pleasure and pain", it's slipped my mind who sings it.
