When you were here, I was your slave, in darkest night or brightest day.
You looked after me when life’s tempest was strong.
When you were near me nothing was wrong.
Your eyes burnt my back when we were standing apart, begging me to turn around.
My Mistress Wife you were meant for me.
Your love defused my jealousy.
When you were born God broke the mould, a Mistress like you I’ll see no more.
With a slap and a kiss, and a pinch and cuddle and soft lips that were stealing my pain away.
There were days of chastisement and with a nights full of love.
You were sent to me from the heavens above.
When the banshee came I remember that day, tears filled my eyes and my heart was low.
There can be no others to take your place.
No more will I see your loving face.
It’s so lonely now that you have gone away, and your powerful voice I will hear no more.
Wait for me lover, for when I throw my last dice.
You were, My Mistress, My Wife, and the best half of My Life.
