It was kind of interesting trying to proof the story instead of reading it. I found myself having to go back and proof after I had read on especially at the "juicy" parts!

What I found interesting is what I learned from my level one reviews and how I could apply them to other writing. (I may never read the same way again )

I can begin to not just react to what I am reading. For instance If I am reading something that is technically poor, my first reaction used to be distaste but before now I didn't know why. It probably wasn't the story but the use of the words and punctuation getting in the way of the story.

You learn something new all the time.

Looking forward to the next task
I am so pleased you found the task an interesting one. I know what you mean about looking at a piece of writing in a different way once you have had to do a review. It is a whole new perspective and gives you a new appreciation for good writing too.

I know I look back on my early stories and am very grateful for good but honest reviews. H Dean was a great help to me, as he could see the potential even when my writing style needed work.

Glad you are getting so much out of the writer's block so far. Keep up the great work.
