I'm not sure if this counts as a sexual misadventure, but:

My pet, after setting up various safety precautions related to our first meeting, had an unrelated medical emergency that rendered her unable to make scheduled phone calls.

As a result I was threatened with jail time and had several people looking to kill me.

We'll look back on it someday and laugh.
