Why did the Obama administration feel the need to increase the size of the Department of Labor by 350%?
Perhaps because there are so many people out of work! (Including me!)
Of course, chances are that increasing the size of the DOL won't make a damned but of difference.

ROFL! Well, the increase in the Dept of Labor would be beneficial if it actually increased available jobs. All it did was create a larger bureaucracy. More jobs in government, less jobs in the private sector...

I agree. But a job is a job. And the nice part about a government job, aside from all those nice perks, is that it's almost impossible to lose it for something silly like not actually DOING your job.

I couldn't find where it increased size as in overall # of workers so much as it's budget, but then I didn't get freaky with my searching eaither.
