I tried several times in many different ways to upload a pic for my avatar but no matter what I try I keep getting "file failed to upload". Can someone please direct how I can accomplish this please?

Sometimes a pic is too large to upload. Check the dimensions, and re-size it if you need to.

Everything Google was not letting me in. Not the website some of the ads on it I think are the problem. Just used different search engine. Would rather use chrome though

Mine said it too, using my cellphone. Apparently the owner of the site can correct the message. Malware detacted in some things posted (perhaps pictures from other sites) but not posted by the site itself, was the message I got.

It's likely due to the advertisements or links that lead away from the site. I've never had a problem with this site.

I disabled this function in Chrome, open settings, advanced settings, scroll down to 'enable malware and phishing' unclick' it (deselect) and it does not seem to occur again....

I know that the site has had issues this week.

When I try to access my private messages, I keep getting a "This page cant be displayed" message. I can access visitor messages, to post on another member's profile, and I can post on other areas of the site, but on the private message function, such keeps happening.

The problem isn't Internet Explorer either, because I just tried logging in from Google Chrome, and got the same this page cant be displayed message. I can post on the forum, but cant answer or send private messages.

I almost gave up on BDSM library. Many of the links were not working (review) and often chrome would block it out because of some malware on the page.

So I'm happy to see that it looks like changes are coming.

I tried looking around for another place to post my stories. ASSTR is probably the closest but it's so ancient and difficult to use. Other sites have crazy moderators that are quick to delete stories. They would delete "Game of Thrones" because the female protagonist are under 18.

I'm hoping to see BDSM Library grow to a functioning place for erotic creativity. Hopefully to include graphical writings in the future as well!

Welcome and yes Chrome has a tendency to block the site, I know but it does not contain any malware. Torq is very diligent in his duties and it is more of a Chrome issue, you can go into your settings and bypass that to open the page.

I hope your stay here is enjoyable but you will find at any site you are not allowed to post pictures, stories etc. about anyone under the age of 18. It is a legal issue for them and it will not be allowed, the site could be shut down.

We do have a lot of excellent erotic stories with a large variety
to cater to everyone.

Hey Rasputtin,

Click on Settings top right hand corner then you will see the Edit Profile Photo and Edit Avatar links in the left side menu. The Edit Profile Photo works fine but at least in my experience the Edit Avatar is a bit dodgy.

It has been quite a while, probably the best part of a month, that I have been unable to upload any pictures. Have tried rebooting, have checked my settings... Trying to upload pictures taken with my phone and transferred to my computer which I have done many times before (so not the file type that is an issue).

Asked a couple of people for advice and found that i may not be the only one with this issue.

Since the Library's return there have been many days when we've tried to go to it and hit a red screen saying "ACCESS BLOCKED - THIS SITE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS INSTALLING HARMFUL SOFTWARE." Sometimes it goes away the same day, sometimes it's there for weeks. We've no way of judging whether this is a real threat or a glitch in our anti-virus.

Has anyone else seen similar warnings, or is it just us? We're running Trend Micro Platignum.

When I just try to go the story page, it says:

Hi.

First off, I have visited this site for years and appreciate the archive of stories and all the effort of everyone who has done this.

But I have 2 questions:

1) I have sent messages to people in the forums and in my "Sent" box there is nothing. I have sent site messages and emails, so why nothing here? I can handle being ignored by them, but I am not sure they even get my message given this.
2) Chat seems totally broken?
3) Where are the authors? Story updates have been very sparse?

Anyway.. just asking, wondering what happened as this used to be an active and good place...
