As I write this, I look at the date on the calendar and cannot believe that only 26 days ago I started my journey as a sub.

It has been an incredible experience of terrifying and empowering self-discovery. Finally realizing, embracing and understanding that yearning desire to submit.

My "logical mind" still fights this need for control. But my soul is satisfied, content in my Freedom Constrained.


Freedom Constrained

I pull against the ties that bind..
shackled control …my tortured mind.

Wanting, needing, yearning pine…
ignoring long, my true design.

Caged desire clawing free..
fear prevents discovery.

With stuttered steps I venture out-
filled with hope, and yet I doubt.

A gentle hand has met me here…
my Master helps me conquer fear.

Amidst my sorrow and my pain,
His hold on me… control is gained.

I find my soul bound to him fast-
my freedom found, constrained at last!
