Walking on Water.

The Chicago Cubs lost another game to the Los Angeles Dodgers last night.

As a long time Chicago Cubs fan I am still rooting for my team. I keep reminding my co-workers that the Cubbies have the best record in baseball and can come back with the best of them. Of course, I am constantly reminded that that it's been 100 years since the Cubs won the World Series by my co-workers.

It ain't easy being a Cubbs fan.

For years, I have been one of the many who have promised the world "Wait 'til next year!" regarding the Cubs. Next year always seems to come and go with no pennant and no World Series to show for it.

So, with the start of each baseball season I promise my comrades at work that the Cubs will be there. With the start of each baseball season my co-workers poke fun at me and speak disrespectfully of the Cubs. Each year, well, you know what happens.

I spiked the coffee maker with Ex-lax this morning. All my co-workers are enjoying their constant visits to the bathroom. The line to get in is relatively long.
