Very helpful although I think it is fairly unrealistic to expect there to be a "lifestyle store" anywhere near the average shopper. Big and medium cities will have plenty of shopping venues but many smallish and even medium cities will not. There must be some trustworthy online stores for some gear. I agree that all beginners are well advised to 'take lessons' and any retail outlet worth it's salt will advise against using certain implements without experience.

Though rural areas won't have the kink outlets, you do have good quality leather products!! I much prefer to have a person versed in leather help me with my purchasing needs, than buy it online, or in a store.

As far as spanking implements, you can get good stuff at the local feed and seed. Usually about 1/4 the cost that can be gotten at the local kink store.
