The thing is you can't be 100% sure who's vanilla and who isn't . I find that opening up a tad can lead to very positive results. I'm lucky to have a few good friends who are very sex positive, and open. Just as an afterthought, generally you become friends with people that are like you so it's likely that you're friends are in the kink closet too.
