That's the key thing, finding what a particular sub feels as punishment. My ex-slave's appetite for whippings was limited only by what she could physically take, but she hated OTK spanking, something about the childish associations hit her where she lived. So I kept that for when I wanted her to know right deep down that Master was displeased.
