Looking

I see faceless forms, nameless people
Contented I watch them pass, carefree
My polka dot smile, punctuating their grey

Melancholy and sadness I sense no more
Completed, Inhaled hurt, now exhaled joy,
Enraptured, I gaze longingly upon your form

Tasting your soul, savoring it’s beauty
Falling into your eyes, my heart bursts
Mesmerized, your wonder ensnares me

Hands outstretched, my secrets and desire I offer
Freed by my surrender, calmed, my being I entrust
Warmed in the suns golden glow blissfully I bathe

My shadows are past, their memory fading
My back to grey, I turn and grasp the rainbow
Embracing light, peace at last, my being aglow
